& no. Lee wouldn’t play middle 6 minutes. LW in Toronto are Knies, Robertson, McMann, and Dewar.. all would play over Lee. Not to mention Holmberg and Cowan would be given a shot at middle 6 LW before Lee would be.
Keep your cap dump. Toronto doesn’t want him. Trust me.</div></div>
how many playoffs series wins since 2002 do you have? we have multiple in your building during the bubble when you guys were at the golf course 😉

completely unrealistic
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMBL</b></div><div>Nelson isn't exactly long-term top-6 option, Lee even with the retention is undesirable for the Leafs who would rather spend the cap elsewhere. You aren't getting any D-help from the trade either. Marner alone is producing more or less as the two combined. The picks, unless something goes very wrong, are probably coming in at the 16-24 range, and you won't be able to get someone like Marner with that more than likely.
So, ultimately, you're not getting better now/filling a need or improving your future outlook directly with this trade.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ryminister_92</b></div><div>Lee is a cap dump. Probably takes at least one 2nd round pick just to move him and he wouldn’t play 4th line minutes on Toronto. Nelson is a decent option, but the picks don’t do much. Leafs want a defender in any deal right now - this deal doesn’t have that.</div></div>
Lee on your sackless team would play middle 6 and be a fresh breath of air for a team that cant pick up their skirts in the playoffs.

Pageau is still excellent on faceoffs, short handed play either for or against, and very nice on the PK. All around stout 3C

at half retained this is not a cap dump very serviceable player that the sabres desperately need for the middle six.

He also used to play defense and is phenomenal defensively. He is great in the faceoff circle, can play center and wing, it left handed and has great scoring talent. He is very young for his draft class, too.
He is not off the table but we arent moving him and 18th overall-- it just doesn't make sense unless its for a star</div></div>
Then we continue to tread on the wheel of mediocrity. Ehlers is proven and would THRIVE with actual ice time in a top line as his underlying number prove.

You can hype him up all you want, but I've watched it for way more years than you have. We are all familiar with it. It's why a lot of penguins fans aren't mad he's gone. He wouldn't be worth the cap hit and we know it.</div></div>

I think the real issue I have is you are getting into franchise level player money here. As much as I like Jake, he's not that. He's never gonna carry a line, he's always going to be a support.
What is that really worth.
I'm sure someone will over pay on him, you can count on that. Personally I wouldn't pay more than about 8.5</div></div>
Guentzel is absolutely all that and the game breaker the canes have needed. You throw the bag and dont ask how but how many jake has always been that guy.

changing of the guard best players play horvat C
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Riddick1919</b></div><div>Ottawa says no to that in a heartbeat. What do they need Pageay for? We don't need a $2.5M 4th line center.... Which is what he'd be as he does not push any of Stutzle, Norris, or Pinto out. If we need to Ridley Greig is also a better 3rd line center option.... Or we move Giroux off the wing to play center etc.... Ottawa doesn't need to trade away a pick, and pick up $2.5M of cap hit for something they absolutely don't need.
Calgary takes that deal in a heartbeat.
Tor takes that deal if they have their defense a little more figured out as that will again be their downfall in the first round this year.
Arz for sure tells you to take a hike lol</div></div>

If the package for Pulock involves Marner with an extension isles say yes. We would gladly give you Lee he would be great for your bottom 6. We have too many of those guys and need to transition leadership into our younger core, changing of the guard.
