This will be an unpopular opinion, but why would Detroit trade a 1st to dump Copp but take on a guy with similar production, a longer term, higher AAV, a worse defender, and a history of being a bit of a drama (LA)king? PLD is obviously a better player, but based on last year, not sure it’s worth it.
Copp- .41ppg- 5.625M- 3 years
PLD- .47ppg- 8.5M-7 years
Dergachyov is an interesting wild card though.
Also, I’m not sure Anderson is better than Berggren, let alone adding Veleno and a pick.
I get the Flames trade but I don’t think it’s worth losing Walman and a 2nd to upgrade from Husso to Markstrom.</div></div>
Well Anderson is a completely different player than Berggren. I emphasized size here as you can see.

You have to retain on Fabbri or add a draft pick. You have the pick going the wrong way. Sens don't need anymore left shot damn. Chicago is the most likely landing spot for Holl but he will probably be bought out

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MyTeamsSuck</b></div><div>😂, Idk I like the Flames trade</div></div>
I got rid of Holl for two picks that probably will be career AHLers. I got Markström for Husso who was hurt all season and is really a backup even when healthy and makes a lot. And two fringe NHL depth players and next year's first that is top ten protected so that's a good deal too. And since when was Fabbri such an incredible player? He's always hurt although actually stayed healthy this season but played on the fourth line. He's not a heavy player and I got one of the few power forwards left in the league. Rasmussen got hurt again and the team could really use Josh Anderson especially at four million. People criticising have the same mind set the Leafs management had for so long. Too many soft skilled wingers. You need power forwards to win and especially in the playoffs. I don't get the hate for Josh Anderson. These people have no clue.

And you don't want to be paying a 41 year old Stamkos.</div></div>
Both are Hall of Fame players so even at their age I bet they will get long term deals to bring down the cap hit

For the 15th overall pick, you might be able to convince CHI to take on more cap than just Chiarot. Maybe Fabbri and Holl/Husso too. Then again, I don't think CHI wants to take many cap dumps, if any. It sounds like they want to be very intentional with their summer additions. We'll see.</div></div>
I stopped reading comments for the most part because of the same people who troll my posts. They think other teams will take our bad contracts for nothing and think players will take way less then they will and way less term then they will.
