O'Reilly is a prospect who has to be watched closely to be fully appreciated.
There are times in games he appears to be pacing himself, but he's calculating with this approach and generally reliable in all three zones.
Provides some deception off the rush with the puck on his stick. Has a surprising extra gear when he sees a lane to attack. Handles the puck very well. Sees the ice. Above average puck touch. Agility / small area cuts / edges have room to improve.

Skating is fine on straight lines. He arrives on time in all three zones. Edges / Agility have room to improve but don't hold him back at the junior level.
Good stick. Finds pucks in the middle of the ice. Looks for second chances around the crease. Hockey sense, and commitment, to be trusted defensively.

Occasionally deployed higher up in the lineup. On the cusp of more responsibility.
Needs time. Needs volume.
Better than average puck skill. Handles are clean. Appears to have a good release.
Skating has another level to go too before his offensive element can have more consistent impact. Moves fine on straight lines. Edges / first three steps / speed coming out of his turns are a work in progress.
