On day one of the U18 Worlds in Finland he was one of the more visible / active players from any team.
Plays quick and fast. A threat off the rush. Leads zone entries at ES and PP.
Creative. Makes 'small area' plays through checks.
Always in motion. Hard to contain / defend.
Generally competes the entire 200ft / doesn't cut corners defensively.
Top end talent. Play driver. Element's are offense and speed.

Helenius was part of Team Finland's roster for the WJC in Sweden. He produced 1G-1A and didn't look out of place.
At the pro level, in Finland, his primary ice time comes at ES and PP.
Helenius plays the game fast. He leads the PP breakout / zone entries. He's a threat off the rush and hard to defend / gap up on / when at full speed.
Compact frame but plenty strong. Has leverage along the wall and the quickness to slide off checks. Element is offense. Fantastic puck touch. Play driver.

Helenius is playing in the top pro league in Finland (Liiga). He sits 6th in team scoring at the November International Break with 5g-5a.
At the recently completed U20 4 Nations tournament he produced 2g-3a in 4GP
Helenius is sturdy/strong. He has the strength to work plays off the wall in the offensive zone.
He's a solid skater who attacks off the rush and has excellent vision via zone entries.
A mostly motion player. Used in all situations at U20. Element is play driving and offense, but he's also reliable enough to take key defensive zone face-offs and kill penalties.
Like any young player, his 'routes' defending players in his zone need attention to detail at times. Best defined as a high end 2-way prospect. Top six NHL forward on projection.
