    Boston and Ullmark both decline.

There is nobody outside the non-playoff picks I would trade Ullmark for in this draft. The other pieces are irrelevant. Kastelic would be waived.

Ullmark is not waiving for Ottawa unless you are willing to extend him with a significant overpay to make it worth waiving.

Don't get so focused on the lines that you miss the depth and the fact that every line has a 200 foot player with leadership.
Holmstrom's numbers are near identical to Ridly Greig but with more goals.
Pageau is a solid 3rd line pivot who, as our 4th line pivot will eat up other teams bottom pairings. Still a beast in face-offs and penalty killing. Great on ice coach/vet to have on the ice and in the room.

But now I'm curious. What you THINK Ottawa will get in return for Chychrun, and when the last trade return we got that did not disappoint you?

I might be willing to make it the NYI 1st and a better prospect along the lines of a Jarventie, Crookshank, or Hamara. Or perhaps you'd like to gamble on Tyler Boucher...? Huh... HUHHHH.... ?

Gonna need to find another team to do the retention since the Sharks have no retention slots.

I LOVE Halliday, and he had an insane playoff run for Belleville, but putting him in the top 6 is putting the cart before the horse. Dude will benefit so much from a full AHL season

Fully aware, hence the title of this post, but I would love to see him get a full pre-season game with some legit NHL finishers like Pinto and Batherson... just to see what the future might hold.
