are you high lol yager alone is already more valuable than Rossi.
I really cannot imagine how you see that.
Go back to each of their draft years.
Marco Rossi - 120 points in 56 games in the OHL.
Brayden Yager - 78 Points in 67 games in the WHL.
Let me further educate you.
Yager was on a stacked Moose Jaw team this year and did not break 100 points.
Rossi went on to put up almost a ppg pace in the AHL when he was down with the Iowa Wild over a two year period. Yager has not made the jump to a Men's league yet. Sure Rossi's D+1 season wasn't much because Covid happened, but if you remove the handful of games he played that season and used the following year as he D+1 season, he is a far better prospect.
Now lets get to the other important aspects. Rossi is now an NHLer and has shown he can compete in the league. Yager is still a raw prospect and we have not seen if he can translate his game to the Pros. There is no certainty that Yager will succeed or be a bust in the league, but most signs point to him being a good middle sixer. Rossi has already shown he can be that and more.
Last point, if you are one of the idiots that goes off draft position. Rossi was selected 9th overall in his draft. Yager was taken at 14th overall. So you cannot use the better draft position excuse.
I am done ranting now
