I like the 2nd and 3rd trades

The CBJ trade is at least somewhat more sane than the absurd Sportsnet one that's been going around, but it's still potentially a no-go for us simply because we already have Laine and Gaudreau as top-line wingers with huge contracts, so that would have to be adequately navigated.

Bonk is a non starter. He is probably the Flyers only untouchable not named Michkov.

My thoughts exactly, I would be fine putting kj out there in a marner trade only if they take back laine as well. And that would be the end of the package.

Calgary counters with Huberdeau for Marner straight up. Then we flip Marner with 50% retention at the trade deadline for a late 1st + a 2nd/3rd/B prospect. To convince Marner to waive Conroy promises he'll only trade Marner to one of 5 teams of Marner's choice.

The only thing the Flames would be interested in would be Easton Cowan and picks so you're way way off in that trade, no one there aside from the pick is even slightly attractive for the Flames.
