Could be a decent NHLer with time, unfortunately he isn't quite like his brother

Ken Hughes magic once again to make sure he doesn't lose precious NCAA prospects to free agency.

Montreal doesn't have a big top 9 winger in the pipeline, making Xhekaj and now Tuch overly important.

Low risk signing, with a not very high ceiling. To be honest, if he walked it wouldn't have bothered me much.

Curious to see how he'll stack up in Laval.

How great of a fit would he be in Buffalo/Rochester love to see an AHL trade here to get him back home and maybe play with his brother someday

Well, he certainly had the opportunity to go if he wanted to. He just had to wait until August and he would have been free as a bird. Kent Hughes must have really laid out the sales pitch to convince him to sign.

That being said, considering the sales pitch it probably took to sign him, zero chance he gets traded for the next little while. Just for maintaining Hughes' reputation. Would look really bad if he traded him this offseason.

I'm hoping he's similar to Joel Teasdale with a little more strength in his game, and not as injury prone

He was better on Greene’s line than with Celebrini. There, I said it.

I'm not so sure. Signing him avoided losing him for nothing. Trading him if they're not interested in keeping him would do the same thing. If Hughes thinks that would hurt his reputation with respect to being able to sign other NCAA prospects, I don't think it would be a problem if he talks to Tuch first to make sure he's ok with the trade.
