Devils aren't trading a top-10 pick for a rental. Full stop.

(further, Vegas has hard cap choices this summer...and has been willing to dispatch guys like Pacioretty, Smith below market to Eastern Conference. If Hill is they guy they move, it will be for far less)

Florida needs to re-sign Montour, Cousins, and Reinhart. You are getting 2 seconds for Verhaeghe. What else would you want?

Maybe for Swayman...but that is probably the only goalie that pick moves for (among those that could move)

Cousins isn’t a big lost
