Interresting trade for Perfetti on the Habs side, but I'm not sure on the Jets side if they really want to already get rid of him.

If Chicago make that, Montreal and Anaheim make a trade for switching the picks.

CGY 1st round pick i'm open with that, but that's need to include Dvorack. No negociation with that.

What a trade down might look like
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>exo2769</b></div><div>I don't see this happening. The Habs and Hawks are in similar positions when it comes to prospects. Both are near the top in the league for overall rankings. Both what high end vs quantity. So it boils down to the Habs have to think the #2 is far better than #5, but the Hawks have to think the opposite. That #5 & #2 aren't very far off.</div></div>
Did you see the Habs young core vs the Hawks young core ??
Habs are by a mile foward the Hawks in their rebuilt......

Does Rossi and Stamkos make them a deeper team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SharkTank</b></div><div>I've thought about Stamkos on Detroit but I just can't see him leaving Tampa.
Sharks decline.
I'm fine with taking Fabbri but I want nothing to do with Holl.
Kane might look elsewhere but Detroit offers a top 6 position, market AAV and Yzerman likely gives him 3 years.
He'll get offers from contenders but will he get similar AAV and term and usage?
I don't know.</div></div>
The only one who can convince Stamkos to leave Tampa Bay is Martin St-Louis.

I don't think that teams will gonna want to make the PLD mistake part 2 with Necas.
That's a great trade for a player like Necas.

I read the rules about that and you're right.
But, I'm 100% sure that Chicago will gonna want to secure their RD spot (because they are very rare to find).

No, they can't have the 1st overall selection lottery twice in the 5 years range. The 2nd overall lottery win have nothing to do with that.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>squashmaple</b></div><div>Brindley will not be a C at the NHL level. He'll be a RW. And don't forget already in the NHL, there's Chinakhov, Marchenko, and Voronkov who can all play wing. Then you've got Johnny Gaudreau taking up a top-6 LW spot for most of the next decade. Wing is definitely not an organizational priority, although I personally hope they wouldn't turn down Demidov if he fell to fourth.</div></div>
And that's why Montreal will gonna make a trade to go up, because of the chances that Columbus select Demidov.

Anaheim, Montreal, and Arizona all have glaring needs. Columbus has the privilege of simply taking their BPA, who very well may not even be Lindstrom anyway. Silayev, for example, said that Columbus and Utah were the teams showing him the most interest. So basically... Montreal wants to get cute to make sure they get Lindstrom? Cool with the Jackets.</div></div>
If Montreal did that, it's for Demidov, not for Lindstrom.

The only way that trade can come is IF Kent Hughes REALLY want Demidov. If he is not sure, he will gonna take the risk that Lindstrom continue to fall down of the top 4.

I think Chicago will gonna take him at the 2nd overall pick because they know that they will once again be in the lottery mix next season and they really need a RD.
Also, 1000% sure that Columbus will gonna take Demidov at 4th because of their Russian connection.

I'm 100% sure with Eiserman or Iginla, maybe Lindstrom, but 100% sure that Demidov is going to Columbus. They need somes offensive skills in their line-up instead of a Dman.

I think they will : Columbus and Montreal are likely gonna take a foward, depending of Lindstrom or Demidov.
Anaheim don't need offense, they REALLY need a RD with a stacked Draft like this one (and I think it's one of the reason of why they decided to get rid of Drysdale).

If they take Levshunov, Montreal need to make a trade for the 3rd overall selection before that Columbus take Demidov at the 4th spot.
