A big body forward who gets involved in the hard areas and creates a distraction in the slot and around the net. For his stature his skating is average plus. He will need to add another gear to have success at the NHL level but he is trending in a positive direction. He has some of the same attributes as Nick Paul (TB). A crafty player who can make small areas plays despite his long reach. Reid isn't shy about shooting the puck and has a good release. He can score from in tight and range. His three zone detail is reliable. Significant upside.
