I like both players but I think Lundell fits a little better. I dont know that his acquisition would push Nazar down to rockford necessarily but the profile fits what the front office likes. I like Durzi a lot personally but I'd ideally get a more responsible and bigger RHD with the intention of pairing him with KK for the next few seasons if youre going to spend assets on getting that player.

Like Lundell's game. Still has upside I think. Not sure he's ever going to provide enough offense to be an effective 2C, which is the only reason Hawks should acquire him. Hawks have Green, Ludwinski, Thompson and Misiak already as 3C prospects.

Durzi seems like a better version of Mitchell to me. Good offensive D man who struggles defensively and doesn't have the size the Hawks are looking for. Can't see him being a target.

Lundell can be a stopgap 2C while the other prospects develop. When we are competing, I think he is an Elite 3C who can jump up to 2C in case of injury.

Durzi is interesting to me, IMO hawks need more offense from the blue line… but I understand the concerns.

I know you said disregard the trades. But with what Lundell likely costs to acquire, seems like poor asset management for a future 3C. He's gotta be your 2C for what he's going to cost.

Korchinski, Rinzell, DelMastro can all provide offense. And Jones is likely around for at least 4 more years too.

To clarify

I see his floor as a really good 3C who can be a 2C in a pinch. Not really sure what it would cost, but I think he’s worth looking into.
