I've thought about Stamkos on Detroit but I just can't see him leaving Tampa.

Sharks decline.

I'm fine with taking Fabbri but I want nothing to do with Holl.

Kane might look elsewhere but Detroit offers a top 6 position, market AAV and Yzerman likely gives him 3 years.

He'll get offers from contenders but will he get similar AAV and term and usage?

I don't know.

I wouldn't do that Rossi deal. Rather take a player with that pick. I like the idea of adding Rossi but not in that deal.

Why didn’t Berggren play more in the NHL this year?

Just because of his waiver exemption status. Last season we got decimated with injuries, at one point almost half our team was an AHL team. This season, Yzerman went out and signed a bunch of players and gave the team alot more depth and then also got Patrick Kane. He just got squeezed out because of our depth since he could pass through waivers. Yzerman basically all but said he would get a roster spot next season, as long as he earns it.

The only one who can convince Stamkos to leave Tampa Bay is Martin St-Louis.

Interesting take.
Not sure Kane will go for 2 years deal. Pretty sure he said he wants to stability and to play till 40 with means a 4 year deal to 36yo. Don't think it's a good idea. At least not for Detroit.
Can't say I am in love with Rossi idea. Another 5'9" shrimp and no physical presence on top 2 lines again. Aside for Stammer they are gonna get pushed around and ran at again.
Who is this guy you have in goal???? Another Florida back-up? Don't think it's good enough. At this point SY needs to step-up and get an A level goalie. Can't get away with B or C types anymore. Not if you expect to make the playoffs
