Trouba and buffalo decline

For devil's advocate, while I get that BUF would probably decline, Trouba goes to a 15 team no trade list, so in theory he couldn't decline

That's a lot of teams to think that he wouldn't put buffalo on that. I know for sure Winnipeg will be in there at least.

It's interesting to see your perspective, and I'm sure we'll all be doing this in the offseason, but it's tough to lose Trouba and Goodrow with really no replacements. Very important players on this team, highly underrated. I think they're going to have to do smaller bridge deals on a lot of these to get by past the year of this thread. McNabb has been really good for Vegass, there's no way we get him for pennies. So in my view, we are losing two fairly important players with no replacement. And this is if only Igor takes a "pay cut" and not over 10million like he probably gets. It's only gonna get tougher for NYR
