There's nothing realistic about Marner earning $12M in Anaheim.

Mitch has shown his true colors. He's a support piece, not the guy you build around, he's a perimeter player who won't change his game when it's not working in the playoffs, and he thinks he's a god, that's the last player to bring into a young locker room.

Van fans say Zadorov can't play RD, is he even a 2nd pairing d-man. Domi needs to be re-signed, if your trading Marner Matthews has chemistry with MAX. Matthews goes from having maybe the best 2-way winger in the league to a defensive liability in Zegras.

Utterly unrealistic to think that Anaheim is going to make the same mistake Toronto made, of trying to construct a winning roster from the top down.

Anaheim is assembling a core of complementary assets. Toronto has assembled a core of big-ticket assets whose cost and value precludes supporting them with sufficiently complementary players to win in the playoffs. Good luck.in the future.
