I agree with your line up for next game. Maybe swap Bunting and Jarnkrok. But those are the guys I want in

Bunting Toronto's MVP this series is over if that dirty a-- 💩 doesn't purposely injure Cernak. They don't blow those 2 LEADS with Cernak on that backend

I think Lafferty is better at RW than ZAR who I felt made a few really bad plays

Only a Leafs fan would act as if they already lost the series when YOU'RE WINNING 3-2!

Especially when Toronto won 2 games in Tampa they really shouldn't have won. If I'm the Leafs I'm feeling fortunate they're somehow up 3-2 in this series. I believe every playoff game is separate and momentum doesn't carry from one game to the next. We'll see what happens in game 6.

No but as the experience of winning playoff games helps you have to think the experience of continuos losing has a negative on the psyche

I don't underestimate Tampa's playoff winning pedigree. It's why I picked them in 7. They know how to win playoff games. I knew they wouldn't panic after blowing those 2 games in Tampa. Most teams would've tapped out.

But I've never believed in momentum carrying over from game to game. I have too many memories both good and bad watching the Red Wings Cup runs and playoff choke jobs.

One which stands out to me was in 2009 SCF we blasted the Pens in game 5 in Detroit. Only to lose game 6 in Pittsburgh. Then everyone said Pens had no chance of winning game 7 because they had lost 3 consecutive games in Detroit. Wrong.

Point (no pun intended) is if I'm the Leafs I'm looking at the positive here. You'd think the Leafs stars have learned a few playoff lessons the past 7 years.

Point also playing on your pun You missed in my second part a losing pedigree can be as damaging as a winning can be positive

Game 6s and 7s haven't been too kind to the Leafs big boys. It'll be interesting to see IF they can change the narrative. Or not.

This is usually when Vasy steps his game up. We'll see if history repeats itself. Or not.

We all know the leafs are probably going to choke, or have a nasty comeback to end the streak.
