Description
On the Keller trade, Barron and the CGY 1st can be replaced with Mailloux or Reinbacher

The only thing this changes is who the Habs should draft at 5, if Reinbacher or Mailloux is dealt, id look at one of the RHDs like Parekh or Levshunov instead.

It would surprise me if Utah trades away players that are headliners on the team in the new city, even if it was for a good package of prospects and picks. They will want to make an immediate impact on the fan base. This does not do that.

Why doe everyone want to trade 2, 3 4+ first round picks worth of value for guys who are only worth 1 (in this case 2) first round picks? Keller is a great player but he is not a future Hall of fame, he isn't gonna be return more than 2 1sts and a good prospect like Farrell or Kidney and Necas is definitely not gonna return much more than Lehkonen did, so please just stop with the ridiculousness.

I do agree, i wouldn’t be shocked to see them making a blockbuster at the draft. They are a pieces or two away from playoff spot. They have a deep prospect pool and tons of draft capital. Now that they have a owner who can spend money on actual players and not on Ltir useless player they will use thay to their advantage.

Its 2 late 1st rounders. They arent worth as much as you think they are. And you clearly overrate our prospects as Farrell and Kidney are fringe NHL prospects. At best bottom 6 players. Those arent "good" prospects. You have to give up assets to get PPG players (and PPG players who play with bozos so imagine playing with actual talent)

Keller was most likely gonna be moved before the relocation. Id have to guess, he wouldnt want to move to Utah of all places.
