I think that he is the type of player that can create a overbidding because he is a player who can have a lot of interrest around the league.

Yeah, 29M in their cap space for the 25-26 season.......
Dobson : 8M
Romanov : 3.250M
Palmieri : likely 3.5M - 4M
Nelson : likely gonna stay at 6M - 6.5M
Maybe Mangiapane can be gone, but he can sign at 5.5M - 6M
The result of that is you will likely gonna have big maximum few millions in your cap space.
And I'm far for being a NYI fan.

Looks, I decided to make a ACGM about your team, I just want your opinion about it.
And Ladd was dumped because he was supossed to stay on the LTIR at the rest of his career....

Looks what I wrote about that trade. You receive Dvorack but you just buyout him. You save another 6M.
And I don't think it's a good idea to retain 50% of Lee when you can give up for a 1st with a top 10 protection.
Personally, I can see the NYI as a natural spot for Marchessault, because of his close relation with Patrick Roy. I'm 100% sure that's his favorite destination, but you will gonna need somes spaces for him and Dobson.

I also believe Stevie will try to talk to P. Kane about staying.
But to do those 2 signings you'll need at least $12 million and you'll also need at least $15 million if the 2 young studs sign long term rather than bridge.
Holl is useless, bury him or buy it out.</div></div>
I 100% sure that Steve Y will gonna have an interest conversation to sign him, but I'm sure that his good old friend and former mentor Martin St-Louis will gonna convince him to sign with Montreal.

That TB trade is much the same, if you’re trading Cirelli you want max cap space not to bring back a guy that the plan is to buy out limiting the captured space intended to acquire in the first place.</div></div>
Maybe, but Montreal will not gonna be affraid to paid much for a player that they really wants.

I think that's a pettry much realistic offer for a player like Necas. Teams will not gonna make the mistake to give top potential actual NHL roster player for Necas, because to avoid the Matheson / Sharangovich mistakes......
Also, Armia is (in my opinion) a way better fit for playoffs than Fast.
But a point that I can't really argue with you is that what will gonna be the asking price for Necas with a GM like Tulsky. He is a new GM in the league, so nobody knows what type of GM he will gonna be. I know that he is a maniac of sports analytics, but I don't know what type of GM that he will gonna be.

I think Montreal want to fix their 2nd-3rd line issues for long-term. Dvorack and Evans are legit 4th line centermans and Newhook need more times to really becoming a centerman. Also, I don't really expect a Monahan return.
They have Dach, but he is injured maybe too much often, but they 100% have the full confidence on him. Their only legit prospect at C is Beck, but their 2024 1st round selection will not gonna be NHL ready until like 2-3 seasons. And that's on this sense that Montreal can have a massive interrest on a player like Cirelli.
Even that I can considering that a overpay return, Montreal aren't scary to trade somes assets for players that they really wants.

I'm not saing that's will gonna happen, but you can't really predic somes things sometimes. Also, that's a high 3rd round pick if you want to know it.
