If Minnesota wanted to move from 13OA to 5OA on Draft-Day
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caerii</b></div><div>That's okay, Harris and Farrell aren't worth their draft positions anymore either.
Rossi is still a 22 year old middle six center, at worst (played like a 2C most of this season), with the potential to become much more.</div></div>
thats true, i like rossi a lot. i think in terms of value its Mtl first, then by a very slight margin minesota's pick then rossi. I'm just saying using pick value for drafted players is not very accurate.

won the cup is a stretch, but they would have had better depth for sure and their odds of winning would have improved. its true no teams were hurt by the cap as much as the leafs for sure.

You know, we're getting rather tired of Zegras proclamations from Habs fans.</div></div>
with that foward core, if they can get a decent Rd for zegras, i think they should do it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RipNasty</b></div><div>No not at all. McCabe has been really good, Rielly isn't dominant but he's been so solid as well. I have liked Edmunson as well, if he can be our 3LD for 1.5 next season I am happy. Liljegren has done well as well as Benoit. However we need scoring and Willy is the best we have at that until Matthews is healthy.</div></div>
agree to disagree! love willy, he's been very good this year and the last few playoffs, but he still just had one good game out of 6. cant be an MvP to me for this series.

My personal opinion is you are undervaluing the defensive play of some players. Willy still only had 1 good game out of 6. not an mvp in my book.

im not saying he is not good, im just saying since he didnt play a lot this series, i dont quite see him as an mvp. we are talking only about this one, everything else he did is irrelevent, not sure why you are so defensive about him. he just wasnt playing

its hard to say someone who only had 1.good game out of 6 is an mvp for the teams in a series...

Wood is a big, slow, unidimensional, sniper. The projection that Helenius will fall is as relevant as saying that Levshunov is going to fall. It is based on absolutely nothing.
They have basically nothing in common. A good indicator that a player will go higher than projected is when every fan base from 10-13 want a specific player. It was the case for Reinbacher last year with STL, VAN, etc. It is happening with Helenius with NJ, PHI, MIN. Helenius will not wait long on draft day.</div></div>
i never said they are the same players, im not even comparing them. the only thing im comparing is their rank from a list.
im just saying its not a good argument to say a specific list has him at a position, because its just a list and wont predict the future and showed a exemple.of.last year that that list got wrong.
if it was so easy to predict who falls, draft list would predict it too. but just so its clear im not defending the idea of helenius falling. im just saying someone from the top rank will, it could be him.

i think you nailed it. to be somewhat competitive, this team needs 2 top 6 winger to produce.
But thisis only buying time in my opinion. Unless their prospect becomes superstar, this team is rebuilding in 2 years time at most i feel.
