This is what Dubas did back in TOR. He thought by signing 4th line AHLers (Simmonds and Clifford), the Leafs would magically be a "tough" team

Kevyn Adams is like Kyle Dubas, they don’t believe in “hitting”. Sorry to say but Sabres will continue to be a soft team until Adams is let go

19G, 29A, 48P in 66GP with 197PIM in the AHL. Exactly who Leafs need

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LuckyMoneyPuck</b></div><div>Sprong is not going to sign here.
Jake is not signing that.
Pesce isn't signing that either.
the only signing that makes sense here is Teräväinen and you under paid him.
I don't mind the TOR trade. As much as TOR fan up there wants to complain. It's about right.
The NSH trade I'm neither here nor there on it. I think it's wiser to keep Smith he's a better player.
You will not be able to move Rakell on waivers is my guess.
I think that's the trade Dubas is going to have to figure out this off season.</div></div>
Nope, Tre would hang up the second Benoit's name is mentioned. Also, he's way too physical for Dubas' liking. Maybe we can give you Topi Niemela instead?

... It's a 3 way trade. Marner isn't a Red Wing at any point. He formatted it that way because either ACGM doesn't allow three way trades, (Trade Machine does) or he doesn't know how to enter them.</div></div>

If NHL GMs were actually fun
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Patrick0426</b></div><div>You may be forgetting Marner has a year left. No, I don’t think it means Coop is a good return, but Leafs get a new starter in net, decent D prospect, and 2 draft picks to use as trade bait to fill the offensive hole met…
Regarding Detroit, Copp had 33 points with Christian Fischer on his wing and as one of the best defensive 3C’s in the league</div></div>
I don't think we're getting a big return (unless extension is in place) either but it will definitely be better than Copp and a 2nd lol
