McTavish is untouchable, so that's an easy decline from Anaheim

I’d trade him for Pasta 50% retained McAvoy 50% retained Carlo and their 2025 and 2026 1sts though

Pretty untouchable like you said

Both get declined quickly and Ullmark has made it clear he is not waiving for western teams

That sounds like a fair trade proposal to me. I will never forgive Bob Murray for taking Nick Ritchie 10OA with Pasta on the board. Of course I know you can never fully predict a player's career at their draft, but I always look back on 2014 and say to myself "The Ducks could have had Pastarnak" 😂😭😂😭

There seems to be a mass delusion on this site that McTavish is not only available, but able to be acquired for pennies on the dollar.

Let me relieve you from laboring under those delusions any further.

I'm sure Bruins fans still lament the 2015 draft when Don Sweeney took Jakub Zboril, Jake Debrusk and Zach Senyshyn at 13, 14, 15 when he could have had Mat Barzal, Kyle Connor and Tomas Chabot who then went at 16, 17, 18! Haha

Los Angeles is the team that needs a goalie, not Anaheim.

The deal is absurd and I apologize that you had to read it, but let’s get real for a minute. You’d probably make the playoffs if Boston would consider that deal.

For the record, a winning team doesn’t trade Pasta or McAvoy for McTavish. Interesting upside, but overrating young players is one reason the same teams are drafting in the top 10 year after year after year.

Not overrating, just purely a joke
