You can't terminate Nukes contract

Those are the two UFAs they should go after IMO, Trenin fit well and Kivi seemed to get better every game. Doubt the Nichushkin contract gets terminated but someone will be willing to trade for it, the return won't be great though.

Just going to reiterate: they CANNOT simply terminate Val's contract so it isn't even worth mentioning at this point. If he goes to level 4, that's a different story but they have to follow the process first; they can't count on having that money available all season so it's useless to pretend as though they can just make that contract go away.

Yeah he or more accurately his agent and NHLPA aren’t going to let a contract like his terminated, but given his tumultuous last year it wouldn’t be shocking if he failed another test. And I am by no means hoping that happens, he seems to be a great guy who I hope Concur’s his problems.
