I've been on here a bunch saying I think there's something to be done between the Hawks and Isles about either/both Lee and JPG. I don't think they have any interest in Wahlstrom though. I think picks are the way to go. They want to develop their own players first...and rightfully so.

Honestly Id prefer to trade Pelech over Pulock given the lack of right side depth for the Isles. Ehlers I think is just such a good target for the top line and WPG doesnt need LHD

Hawks are def in the mix for Lee/JGP as cap dumps. With 8 second round picks over the next three drafts, I do wonder how much we value another mid/late 2nd round pick.

I wonder if there's a way for the hawks to get a 1st out of the situation. For example, we take Lee and a 1st and send a 33OA, or take Lee + JGP + 1st for late 2nd. I imagine hawks would throw in an extra pick or roster player to make it happen. Is that close to fair value for Islanders?
