Sharks will take him but we are not doing it for free. Carolina been squeezing others for years now this off season its their turn to get squeezed

Friedman openly said that it's contract wise. It's about AAV and term.

It was reported that he was unhappy a while ago. Unhappy because of the playing time.

No friedman didn’t say it was contract related. He only said the canes wont give him what he wants. Or something to that effect. It sounds like he is talking contract but Necas’ dad made it sound like it is ice time

He hasn’t earned it and he hasn’t had any chemistry on the ice with anyone but Drury. That includes aho, staal, trocheck, etc. he had a brief good time with kk and Svech early last season but hasn’t repeated it.
