As much as I'd love to have Markstrom, the Sens most likely won't be budging on the 7th overall pick.

Calgary declines. Cap dump Korpisalo is a deal breaker for Calgary. It makes no sense to waste 2 retention slots that way either, it'd make way more sense to retain more money one of the two players. They should be willing to retain 50% on Mangi and might even be willing to retain 50% on Markstrom but not on both.

Calgary would take Yakemchuk over Parekh and Iginla won't still be there at 9th.

Nobody wanted Vladar at the deadline, not paying multiple picks for him. I remember when flames fans were trying to tell people he was worth a 2nd
