Celebrini rookie year

Created by: Jph812
Team: 2024-25 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: May 17, 2024
Published: May 17, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I wanted to get Celebrini a couple players that he could learn from. The stamkos signing may have been a bit of an overpayment but I believe it is worth it for him to mentor Mack.

I was lambasted for suggesting a Stamkos future outside of TB.
I think Duschene might sign for that price. Probably wants more than 2yr though.
Buyout MEV and sign Montour.

I like some of the signings but Andersson will likely cost more, but also makes no sense from the Sharks perspective to spend future assets to get a guy who won't help in the long term. they could wait one more year to see if he hits free agency to try and pick him up.

I think DeMelo gets more. I like Amadio but not with all the other signings. Amadio, Brossoit, Duchene (if Cooch is healthy), Kubel are just unnecessary signings that homegrown guys deserve those spots WAY more.

What homegrown guys would you want to get that spot? I am thinking the sharks are going to be bad again next year so I don't know if they want to give some of those guys some more AHL time

Gushchin and Bordeleau are ready. I think Smith, Cardwell, and Musty will seriously push for a spot. And Same goes for Shakir on D

Ok Fair fair, definately see those guys as guys that could get some time so If I had to do it again I wouldn't sign NAK and Amadio

The 1st is good start for Andersson but it'll take something better than Wiesblatt to get him.

Which one of the sharks prospects do you like? I'd be curious to hear what flames fans are thinking
