Detroit declines.

Ras wasn't signed to a 4 year contract extension just so he could be traded for the declining Trouba.

Take out Rasmussen and maybe we can talk. Not opposed to Trouba to Detroit but it would have to be on the cheap.

What is with everyone wanting to trade Trouba to Detroit on here? If he was going to Detroit it would have been 5 years ago when the Rangers picked him up.

Considering the teams Trouba will waive for and the teams that can take on his cap hit, that list will be very small and that doesn't bode well for a good return.

He us from the Metro Detroit area. But can not see Yzerman doing it .

Detroit says no. Trouba is too much cap and too old, why would they give up assets for a guy who isn’t even gonna decent when they’re contending?
