Description
I love the way Cizikas plays under Roy in the fast paced system, so I’m completely fine with him at 3C. With better players around him he should also put him better points.

Also, the only players I feel will be traded would be Lee and Pageau. Between the players who shouldn’t be traded (Nelson/Palmieri) and those who can’t be traded (Engvall/Mayfield), I feel Lee and Pageau are still good players who just aren’t worth their complete contract. I believe Pageau will definitely be moved this off-season, but between Lee’s role as captain and Lou not retiring, he’ll probably be around another year.

I don't want to trade our 1st so I'd like to target more mid-level trade options and I feel Mangiapane could be that plus I think Calgary would be a good place for Pageau.

Between Duclair's connections with Roy and the team's dire need for speed I think he'd be an excellent fit on the top line. Realistically we just need a guy who can keep up with Horvat and Barzy, but Duclair has shown with the Lightning that he's worthy of moving up in the lineup.

I don’t think Mangiapane is worth a full 2nd round pick’s value, so I was thinking with that excess value + Wahlstrom should cover any of JGP’s negative value.

I would be fine with the trade if you retain $1.5M on Pageau.

Otherwise, I'd rather keep Mangiapane until the TD, unless he can fetch a 2nd with retention.
