If Nurse Were To Move To Forward Position

Hahaha, if you can help pay his 9.25 mill for next season, we'll send him over till the job is done

If Nurse Were To Move To Forward Position
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Oilergirl1</b></div><div>Henrique is not taking that big of a paycut.
If moving Darnell up which I agree with, but not a second line winger. Most likely a 3rd at best which is good to have a big 3rd line winger. So move Holloway up to second line.
Also over-paying Desharnais by at lease half-mil per season. Oilers have too many bad contracts already, why add another one.
Also better to buyout Campbell than burry the contract to save cap space.
Been trying to dump Ceci and Mcleod with no success yet!
LETS GO OILERS!</div></div>
See I tried keeping Campbell for another year and buying him out this upcoming year, and buying him out next year makes way much more sense in a cap struck team like Edmonton, it does save like a mill or 2 on the cap, also, why wouldn't Henrique accept a pay cut when any other team in the league doesn't want to pay an aging player anymore than 3 mill or maybe even 2.5 mill?

Why not Silayev
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>Sanderson - Zub

Dickenson to Ottawa seems more imaginable than Silayev to me, I really believe that the big guy will land in Arizona/Utah, then they'll have a number of huge players and bully their way around getting wins and bully themselves into a playoff spot, I really think the guys in Arizona/Utah really deserve to be winning now, especially after being on the crappy end of the stick for years, it's just too bad that they're letting go a couple seasons too early

Silayev to Ottawa? Hmmm, to be honest, I didn't think of that, I'm guessing that Arizona/Utah takes on the big guy, then they'll bully their way back into a playoff spot and keep doing so for years to come, but who knows

For sure!!! If the Sens take Dickensen, I can see the Sens possibly trading away both Chych and Chabs too, be nice to add another 1st round pick either this year or even next, Chabs does still have high value I'd say

I'm guessing Calgary takes a chance on the Helenius kid, if not, then they'll probably take Silayev, they do need defenceman now

I wasn't high at all on Zayne Parekh but after seeing his numbers at the end of the season, damn this kid is good, possibly even top 5 good, hopefully Ottawa lands the kid

2024 2025 Ottawa Senators
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dan_the_Man</b></div><div>Zito laughs and hangs up Lundell isn't going anywhere.</div></div>
As well as the panthers with those left side defenseman, Forsling is the only real good LHD they've got, I mean Mikkola is a not bad shutdown defenceman but that's it, he can't really drive the puck up ad good as Chych could, imagine this d core
Chychrun Ekblad
Forsling Montour
Mikkola ?OEL?
The panthers would be flying next season.
Bottom line in my opinion is that this trade would benefit both teams and would also be a win win situation on both sides, you aren't getting someone like Jake Sanderson in return for Lundell, especially Sanderson being the next cornerstone for the Senators on the back end when Lundell is a phenomenal middle six player, Chychrun could easily be a top 2 defenseman in my opinion especially with a guy like Ekblad by his side, maybe he'd even bring Mikkola's numbers up if paired with him who knows

The pick swap has a slight benefit of letting them pick in the 2nd round a year earlier, but the players coming back are not really needed, and Beecher is playing a valuable role on the team. It doesn't seem worth it.</div></div>
This is just a trade that happens "IF" Gryz walks as well as Shatty, then they'll get cheaper replacements, basically almost the same skill sets, idk, but I do understand that Beech plays a pivitol role on the 4th line for the bruins

I actually really like those lines besides Hammer being on the team lol.</div></div>
Yeah, Hams is unfortunately on the team, again, but at least he doesn't cost as much as he did before, if they brought in Forbert like I have, then Forbs and Hams could mentor Kleven in becoming a really good shutdown defenceman I'd say, it would take some time, but it does take time to learn the dest ways of shutting down good offense systems in the NHL

Jack Campbell+Philip Broberg+Raphael Lavoie+2025 and 2026 3rd round picks good enough?
