While I'd normally agree KK is a dump, if other teams are interested it might not be a dump to get rid of him. Might just be a team taking a flyer
You're essentially paying for Necas here

If VAN is really interested in KK like the rumors suggest, they can make it work without giving us Mik. Package him elsewhere with Hronek.
If Hronek was willing to take like 6m, I'd take him. He just wants too much

A 1st+ on top of this coming back from Boston. Ullmark has a bad playoff record despite how little he's spent in the playoffs AND he's 30

No, but being bad defensively adds to it. He's not great down the middle.

Similar situation with Leafs Nylander. Yeah he can play centre in a pinch, but he is much better winger.</div></div>
You could "get by" playing him in the middle if you had do. But long term? No.
A canes fan was trying to make the argument that he spent 13 years or something playing center? Lol. A lot of NHL players played center in what, peewee? Doesn't make him a center at the NHL level

Necas
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Necas is literally a natural center. I've had this debate all morning with a delusional Bruins fan (not you). Necas is a natural C that wants to play C. If he's going to be forced to play on the wing, he wants top PP time. Waddell said he plans on keeping Necas since he's arbitration eligible, meaning you'd have to meet the Canes price to get Necas</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bruins27</b></div><div>Bruins would not even consider Poitras for Necas. He is a 2nd line RW who wants out, Canes do not have the leverage to ask for a young, potential top 6 C.</div></div>
Necas isn't a natural center man. Don't let him convince you otherwise. He's wrong.

They show Necas had far worse goaltending when looking at his GA/60 compared to his xGA/60. That's to be expected, Swayman is one of the best goalies in the league. You'd expect that. But, Necas was comparable. He's not awful defensively</div></div>
Except this isn't the only season the stats don't favour Necas, right? He's spent one season playign at a replacement level defensively then every year prior and after he's been brutal.
It doesn't take a hockey genius to watch his defensive game and see there are major flaws as well. Great speed, skill and playdriving ability? Hell yeah.
Defensive game? Nah.
He's not a center.

Weird. I remember how much you used to slap these graphs in peoples faces constantly. Guess it stopped fitting your narratives.
