I can't believe Pettersson didn't get a no move clause in his deal..............hoping this is a trend for upcoming long term deals.

Actually he did. He has a full NMC not for the first year but for every year after the first. They can trade him anywhere they want next season, after that they can't trade him at all unless he agrees.

$11m plus per year won't look too good if Pettersson keeps being Sedin/Marner soft in the playoffs.

I get that going with Miller and then... I guess... well who else at center? Schmaltz used to play the position, but pretty weak depth down the middle without Petey. Having said that, Keller, Schmaltz and a large bottom six center isn't the worst offer.

Pettersson will be fine. He’s been dealing with an injury since the last month-2 months of the regular season. He still had 89 points with very good defensive play, and he was great in the playoffs in the bubble as well. Also tough for him to produce when his linemates are Mikheyev, Lafferty, Karlsson, and a cold Hoglander

in the bubble he was like a point per game player and his best seasons are when he played with Kuzmenko and Boeser and he turned his buddy Högs into a 24 goal scorer
he has a wrist injury, look at him at the begining of the year taking shots and now the velocity is way down
