Dude still has grit and this contract is fitting for what he’s done over the years, but still is hefty nonetheless. 1 year deal and that’s it’s for sure.

Great contract for a guy who i think will get his name back into talks in LA, especially with the start they have had this year.

Shame Carter got hurt my favorite player currently, though this guy got robbed on a goal against Ducks when ref blew whistle before the helmet even hit the ice of Gibson... NHL rules are really stupid to have a goal like that waived off when he would have never saved it in the first place... I can see having them play lame since goalies used to play without a helmet including myself before I could afford to buy one... Yet if blowing a play dead before it even hits the ice taking away a goal that was clean without any chance that he would have stopped it or reacted is lame... IF guy shoots like that without the helmet even being a factor I think it should have counted. They even took a goal away from BRown so good luck to him rest of season smile. Rather see him than say a waste like they had in Jordan Nolan making nearly 1M in cap hit a year who was lost on waivers merciful to Buffalo smile.

Good depth addition, but they should have went with someone younger.
