Good deal. A little less than Gaudreau, a little more than Forsberg.
And pretty similar to Tarasenko, considering they didn't pay for UFA years. I have no doubt that this is going to be a good contract. Congrats Bruins fans.

The last two years are UFA years. He'll already have 7 years of professional service time by then, so those become UFA years, as opposed to the age 27 rule.

Good deal. It does create the danger of him leaving in the middle of his prime, though.
Doubt that will happen. He potentially would be Boston's #1 guy, and they will pay him as such. In 6 years a lot of guys on this team are gone and Bergy and Marchy getting very old.
3 years ago they gave Krejci a pretty hefty contract for back then. They will pay the going rate in 6 years - who knows what that will be. And it's after the next CBA I believe.....who knows what will happen!!?? Nobody can predict anything 6 years out in the NHL
