By my math, assuming the Canes don't bring back Cam Ward next season, they should have ~13.25 million for pay increases for Hanifin, Dahlbeck, TVR, Lindholm, Stempniak, Ryan, Nordstrom, and Jooris, along with getting a new backup goaltender.

Good deal by the Canes. There's a chance that Pesce and Slavin can become one of the league's best defensive pairings in the next few years, as they're both still pretty young.
