Failed first round pick. Should have been moved by now. I guess he still has the pedigree of a first round pick on paper

Well, Sweeney probably believes he can still get something out of him instead of losing him for nothing. As of right now, he has zero trade value. He had a bad year following a larynx injury from the season before. Some goalies take more time to develop and he is only 23
