Just a few things for when people comment:

      - Trading for Ryan Sponer will probably cost more than above, yes I'm aware it was more a throwaway since I don't anticipate penguins holding on to that pick or their own 5th rounder. The reason I traded for Spooner is because any year now there should be a drop off in either Malkin and Crosby's play Spooner is a good playmaking centre to maybe get a few extra points than what Bonino has had.

      - Nick Bonino is too expensive to keep he could on the best day fetch 4mill because that is what decent centre's cost. Also because of Malkin and Crosby you generally stick around 3-4 mill for bottom six centres.

      - There really isn't any reason to drastically change the d-core both Dumoulin and Schultz will be entering their prime for defensemen. Maatta would only be 23!!! no need to trade him just yet outside being paired with Trevor Daley, not many 23 year olds are as good as him still can reach new heights.

      - I should of signed another decent Right handed D for when Letang gets injured again however didn't because I don't know suitable defensemen too well. Maybe a sleeper pick is Adam Clendening however he is RFA'ed by the rangers and will likely receive a qualifying order. Don't know how you can get him without overpaying.

      - Jim Rutherford I please beg of you not to re-sign Hainsley/Daley/Streit.

      - Given how Penguins injure themselves all the time I expect Rutherford to sign one or two of Hainsley/Daley/Streit.

      - Aston-Resse and Sprong will eventually make the roster but will be in AHL to start the season, there isn't an overly big need of them to be rushed Will be this years Jake Guentzel. Remember because of the Indian Burial ground beneath PPG Paints Arena they will play because of Injuries.

      - I signed Brian Elliot because he is a 1B goalie and could give not such a big workload for Matt Murray still maybe too young to give him a full load, also Tristian Jarry would be ideally starting most games in the AHL for development.

      - If somehow Hagelin doesn't get picked up for the expansion draft he will get traded because 4 mill is too much if guys like Wilson and Rust exist also Pittsburgh have too many wingers however I re-signed Kuntiz because he would still be an effective bottom six player. Still scored 30 points while missing a chunk of the season.

There are a bunch of other thoughts but there isn't a need to drastically change up the team.

What's wrong with a Hainsey/ Daley resign. 1-2 years and cheapish contracts? Both have been fairly solid for us.
