Thats not a bad trade with the Islanders, but those are poor signings. You over paid for Letustu, could probably get him for 1.5. as for JvR, I wouldn't want him more then 6. and Tavares will ask atleast 12 mate

The Leafs can't give JT 8 years ... also, wait til you have to sign Matthews and Marner.

Thanks For Reasonable Feedback, And Not Call Me “Dumb”, “An Idiot” And Etc. But Hear Me Out. Your Right, I Over Paid For Letestu. I Thought He Could Get More. But He Probably Won’t. An Additional $250,000 For JVR In My Opinion Is Reasonable. I Don’t Think He Would Want Anything Less The Marleau. I’d Pay The Extra $250,000 To Keep Him Around. As For Tavares, $12,000,000? I Know He’d Get Those Offers, But If He Signed For Toronto, No Home Town Discount? $8,500,000 Was Based Off Stamkos. But Now I Do Feel That’s Less. Thoughts On $10,000,000?

Marner and Matthews will cost the leafs a lot. Not to mention the cost of maintaining the team around them, they simply cannot sign Tavares to that type of term. Tavares will likely hit FA and that in and of itself will drive up his cost.
