Totally like it, but IMO the Hoffman/Pacioretty switch does not benefit Ottawa, cause Pacioretty is gonna need an extension 1 year earlier. And he'll demand more than what would Hoffman will. So I'm betting Ottawa would say nay on that part of the package

Karlsson is much much better than Weber, Patches is only a bit better than Hoffman but Hoff is signed longer, Pageau is significantly better than DLR and McCarron, and the picks don't cover the differences. Horrible trade for Ottawa; they'd laugh in MB's face if this was his proposal.

No way is Dorion trading Karlsson to either Montreal or Toronto and Ottawa will want younger assets a 32 year old Weber wont cut in Ottawa is giving up the best assets here Fat chance this gets you either Karlsson or Hoffman.
