I think Vegas would definitely jump on this deal... just curious what you guys think. I think it’s worth it, gives Chicago a chance to reunite with Panarin

Since Seabrook has a full NMC for five more years, is this realistic.

Vegas would be all over it. They wouldn't want to move Reid Duke just because of the sentimental reasons, but if it meant getting two firsts, two seconds and a fourth, they'd be all over it.

McPhee would be drooling with all those draft picks going his way.

The Blackhawks aren't going to trade him. A.) The previous posts are accurate that he has a full NMC...so basically just VAN if he wanted to go home. B.) Whatever it took for a team like VAN to take on this contract would be massive. Think schmaltz or Hartman which would be terrible for the Hawks. C.) Let's take some stock into his play and not just his contract. So he's not a top blue liner...ok, we knew that last year. So he's not a #3dman...that's a little fresh, but soon maybe a #4 at best...That is indeed a hard pill to take, but the there's another compliance buyout coming in 2022 (most likely) and his cap hit won't get any higher. Keep your assets and buy him out when you can. He's not a handicap by any standard. The team needs another #3 or #4 blue liner to help support and require less minutes for Seabs. I'm much prefer to get our 2nd rounder back from MTL and offer sheet Trouba.
