| | - | | He's the best player available, no debate here |
| | - | | The Hawks have needs at all the position, but they take the best player too. |
| | - | | The Ducks have an interesting forward group with Zegras, McTavish, Gauthier, Carlsson. So I think they take the hole left by trading Drysdale, by taking Levshunov as the best right defenseman of the draft. |
| | - | | Kind like Anaheim, the Jackets have a good young foundation upfront with Fantilli, Johnson, Sillinger, Marchenko. They also have Jiricek as their future rhd so they take their future lhd, not knowing if they'll resign Provorov and they take Dickinson |
| | - | | The Habs will draft a forward for sure. I think it's going to be a toss between Lindstrom and Catton. Why this history of injuries of Dach do they take a player similar of him, at least physically or more of a skill guy. I think they'll go with the skills and take Catton. |
| | - | | The Sens have a interesting forward group at offense, but also on defense. However they don't got a stud rhd, so they'll go with that direction by taking Yakemchuk |
| | - | | Lindstrom could be a interesting choice, but since they already got Wright and Beniers as their future centers, I think Seattle goes with a defenseman. At this point I think it's a toss between Buium and Parekh, but I think they'll go with Buium. |
| | - | | This is a personnal choice but at this position they have the chance to draft Iginla, which would be awesome for the fans. |
| | - | | WE'VE GOT A TRADE!!! Bettman announce the first trade. New Jersey trade his pick to Calgary in exchange of Markstrom and a prospect or a young player. New Jersey had a dissappointing season and they'll go get Markstrom who's available. Since Calgary just drafted a forward with Iginla, they'll go with a defenseman with Parekh. |
| | - | | Buffalo as a lot of young center with Thompson, Cozens, Kulich, Ostlund, Savoie. I think they'll take a winger. Now it's to know do they go with a homerun with Eiserman or a good and more responsable and hard working player like Helenius. I think the latter wins and they'll go with Helenius. |
| | - | | Philly likes the big guys so they go with Lindstrom. |
| | - | | The likely guy that will replace Zuccarello at rw once he'll retire or once he'll be near of it. |
| | | | The Sharks have the chance to hit homerun here with Eiserman still available and they take their chance. |
| | - | | Bettman comes to the podium to announce the second trade of the night. Detroit trade the pick to Anaheim for Gibson, a prospect and Lyon
Detroit was very close to the playoffs this season. If they had a reliable goaltender perhaps they would be in the playoffs. They got enough prospect and picks, now it's time for them to push. Gibson played under a weak defense corps for many years. Now with Detroit perhaps it helps him. Anaheim decides to go with the size and pick Greentree. |
| | - | | St-Louis d-corps is pretty old and besides Lindstein they don't have many players at that position that could potentially plays in the NHL. So with that they'll go with Jiricek. Even though he missed a good portion of this year he still projected to be a good defenseman for whichever team will pick him. |
