You can sign any left winger with the amount of $ left if you dont like DeBrusk.

I just think if you’re gonna sign someone they have to be better then smith.

Teräväinen should only cost 1 to 1.5 mil more, and really is a 1LW quality guy.

There is no point in swapping DeBrusk for Smith.

I don't get the Luostarinen trade anyway. He's ok, but really they have so many young players who block the path.
Save 2 mil in cap and play any number of younger guys there, Broz, Ponomarev, Poulin.
Out of the 3 of them one of them will step up.
Sink the money into a top 6 guy or better 3rd pairing defense.

Sure, with the extra cap, sign TT instead of DeBrusk if you want.
I think Luostarinen is a solid player, good contract, young, can play PK, hits, good on the puck. I think he can be an ideal 3C for us.
