He's a good player with great potential, and during Riellys time out he PPd the powerplay SIGNIFICANTLY better... But the Leafs need size on the back end and Hague is a great fit for the teams treliving builds

I think that’s a no from Seattle. I don’t disagree Marner would be a great fit but I don’t think Seattle wants to give up assets. They’re building from within and would likely make a splash for Marner in FA.

It might work if it was thier 2025 first IMO.

You can't afford to resign him. Hes gonna want more minutes than how you'll play him

If he was as good as they want they wouldn't have traded for hanafin

Leafs are not getting a top 10 pick for a rental. I know you will come back with it assumes an extension, but an extension that pays him $12 mil + deep into his 30s is not all that attractive either.

Not if you trade for Lily...who is just as good if not better, just different style. Your division isn't as physical as the Atlantic. I imagine he'd do better

Several teams have reportedly shown hevay interest already. I'm not sure the league agrees

Teams showing interest because they are trying to get him for Pennies on the dollar since they all know the leafs have to trade him with Mathews and Nylanders extensions kicking in.

Any negative fact you say about the situation, which may not be wrong, is outweighed by the fact he is a perennial cusp 100point guy and one of the best play makers in the league.

Any team will kick tires at the least. Anyone without a star will be serious.
