If the $2.5M retention on Marner is for all 9 years, then I'd consider this. Otherwise, hard no.

Can't imagine the blues entertain that pitiful offer....also I would prefer to keep Slaggert, but the ceiling isn't too high there and we are in need of RHD so idk.

The automatic answer to any Kampf-to-Jackets trade - at least, any in which he's anything more than a throw-in on something bigger - is no. It will continue to be no. It doesn't matter what the return is or what you're asking us to pay; it will always be no. Stop trying to send him here. We do not need him, we do not want him, and there is no scenario in which he would be useful here.

Hawks easily decline. Timmons is a free waiver wire player, Slaggert is a good botto 6 candidate

How is it possible anyone could imagine that STL trade was remotely near ready for the submit button? I'm morbidly fascinated.

Just FYI, you haven't even paid for the retention you're not ever getting from Army.

Hawks might consider that. Seems like fair value for both teams.

It's Slaggert for Liljegren.

But, yeah, I don't think CHI is moving Slaggert so soon. They seem to be pretty high on him and he wasn't bad at all after leaving college.

Wow, I missed that maybe because of all the Timmons trades. I do like Slaggert and he seems like a bit of a buzzsaw player. Lillypad is a 3rd liner, easily replaceable and never been a fan of his game.

For sure. I totally get it. The massive amount of proposals from TOR the last week makes it hard to keep track of what is what and not just blur everything together. haha
