So if Im breaking this down:

Flyers are moving Coots at 7.75M for Skinner at 9M, but theres more... we are moving our best player for Samuelsson and a 15 spot move up in the first round....

EDIT: Oh wait...Flyers are retaining as well. Whew doozy.

Forward core looks dangerous, defense looks suspect. They'd make the playoffs with this roster, but I'm curious as to where Savoie, Kulich would fit next season. Someone would need to be moved, maybe Tuch.

So Colorado is trading a) one of Jared Bednar's favorite players b) one of Nathan MacKinnon's favorite line mates c) Mikko Rantanen's boyhood best friend d) one of the best clutch players in the league right now for a 3rd pairing D and a 2nd in 2025 (not even 2024 lol)?

Why in the world would they do that?
