Well the PP looks absolutely not better

So the defence we have is just inept at moving the puck. This likely has a lot to do with why we can't score in the playoffs. We only ever have 3 players on the ice that have any idea of what to do with the puck in the offensive zone. When McCabe is your 2nd PP QB you have a serious problem.

They certainly look urgent at least. I have liked Willy, Marner, Knies and Domi tonight. Rielly is all over the place in a good way. But man, we have 3/4 defenceman who just offer nothing in the o zone. I think next year they need to find defenceman who can be physical and still move the puck. Having Rielly and Liljegren (who definitely looks hurt) the only two guys with any puck moving ability is not wise. Hopefully it doesn't cost them.

We dont really know that but even so we saw that game 4 off the reaves turnover. Its nothing new. Sure a bounce also helped but what Benoit did was almost exactly what he did and BOS capitalized on their second shot. They know how to hem in TOR
