Get real, Anderson isn't fetching that! He's overpaid to get half that (a top prospect or a 1st) you'd have to retain some salary at least a million a year. Even then you wouldn't be getting Coronato.

The only Players that could return a 1st for MTL is Suzuki, Caufield, Guhle, Slafkovsky, maybe Dach, and possibly Matheson & Owen Beck. That’s it!

Bring in Barabanov to play 1RW & set up Toffoli & Lindholm and Duclair to play 2RW for Kadri & Huberdeau. At least they’re cheap, affordable and have another year term. Get 2 0.67PPG Players for the price of 1 0.50PPG Josh Anderson.

I’d also consider Jeff Carter if he’ll waive to come to CGY. Like Pavelski, the guy can still contribute and we could use another Right Shot for PP Unit #2. He can be used at 1/2RW or 2/4C

Yes I'm afraid he'll do something stupid again but he won't pay this much for Anderson. Anderson would be a nice pickup but if he gives up Coronato OR our 2023 1st for Anderson that better be enough to finally get him fired.

I wish he'd trade Tanev and bring in a bigger meaner more durable defenseman. Kylington too. And of course after all the years Treliving has been looking for a high end right shooting winger we STILL don't have one. With the loss of Tkachuk we need a power winger too. IOW a big 1st line power winger who can score 40 goals would be perfect. Ideally a right shot but a left shot RW will work too. For Timo Meier I'd trade that 2023 1st and more... Quite a lot more if Meier comes with an extension. Tarasenko would work too though he's not worth as much as Meier.

What about moving Kadri to 1RW and having Dube, Ruzicka and Zary compete for 2C Duties.

Not a bad idea but I think I'd rather leave Kadri at 2C and put Ruzicka back at LW on either of the top 2 lines. Maybe even try him at RW.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ruzicka on a line with two of Zary, Pelletier or Dueher either. Ruzicka or Zary at center and Pelletier or Dueher as the 3rd player depending on which works best. Zary centering Pelletier and Dueher with Ruzicka playing in the top 6 would be nice to see too. Who knows maybe a 4th line of fast and skilled rookies is exactly what the team needs right now!
