Description

If the Hawks win the lottery, I'm betting the Hawks bring back Kane; even if they don't they may still bring him back. If they don't and draft Demidov, Levshunov or Lindstrom, than I can see the Hawks making cap dump trade such as Anders Lee with the Islanders.

I also could see the Hawks overpaying Matt Roy to move one of Murphy or Roy at the TDL waiting for Rinzel to be ready, and if the Hawks grab Levshunov even more so. Even if they give Roy $8M on a 2 year deal, at 50% retained, playoff teams will be all over him.

Donato, Hall and AA are all gone at the TDL and that's when the call ups for the young guys will start. Moore will sign in the spring as well and get ice time.

Next summer's free agent class will also be strong to plug holes going into the 25/26 season.

I think Reichel and Celebrini together would be a force and might help Reichel take another step. That is, if Celebrini transitions to the NHL well enough.

Doubt 2x$7m gets Roy. He'll get offers of 4 or 5 years at $6m in all likelihood. I'd be fine with Kaner coming back.

As I said in the description, maybe Hawks give him 2 year for $8M?
