2. Ivan Demidov (Columbus Blue Jackets) (Details: The next easiest selection in the draft. Demidov is arguably a better version of Michkov, just without the hype. Columbus doesn't mind drafting Russian and he would greatly help this team in the 25-26 season when he comes over.).
3. Artyom Levshunov (San Jose Sharks) (Details: San Jose could use a Franchise Level RHD and I believe that is Levshunov. He is everything you want in a defenseman and he has an insane amount of hockey IQ. Instant top RHD in the organization.).
4. Anton Silayev (Chicago Blackhawks) (Details: Chicago just needs to take the BPA and Silayev is looking like he could be the next Chara. Big bodied beast whose game translates perfectly to the NHL. He can even play his off-side no problem resulting in a LHD that will be able to play with Vlasic on your top pairing.).
5. Carter Yakemchuk (Anaheim Ducks) (Details: The Ducks need to replace the void in their young RHD after moving Drysdale to get Cutter. Yakemchuk has all of the things you cannot teach a prospect and would be NHL ready within a year. Just needs to work on his breakouts and play with his size in his own end.).
6. Berkly Catton (Montreal Canadiens) (Details: Habs need to address their future in the forward positions. Catton is an Elite level for pure skill and would easily slot in behind Suzuki as the second line center going forward for the Habs.).

This and RHD are the only two areas I see them needing to draft and they are not going to reach on Adam Jiricek or Henry Mews at 11. Helenius is almost an NHL ready prospect that would be a great addition to this team.).
12. Cayden Lindstrom (Philadelphia Flyers) (Details: Lindstrom ends up sliding, and Danny B hits gold once again getting a future top 6 center to add to getting Michkov last draft. If Michkov comes over after next season these two could join the Flyers at the same time and grow with one another.).
13. Michael Brandsegg-Nygård (Minnesota Wild) (Details: The wild get a play driving RW that is so close to being ready to join the NHL, after a good offseason he would have a chance to be this year's Benson and make the Wild right out of camp.).
14. Trevor Connelly (San Jose Sharks from Pittsburgh Penguins) (Details: The Sharks seemingly go off the board but select a legit threat on the wing. Yes everyone knows about the off-ice issues that arose but he has worn his mistakes on his chest and made apologies where they were do. Connelly has seemingly righted his wrongs and looks to prove he is a high caliber NHL star in the future.).
15. Cole Eiserman (Detroit Red Wings) (Details: CAPITALS SELECTION VIA 3 WAY TRADE

The Capitals understand they need more offensive talent after struggling to put the puck in the net this season. Eiserman can do that but just needs to work on the other parts of his game, they will give him time to develop well Ovi goes for the record. Giving him time to improve his skating to get to the NHL level.).

Adam Jiricek (St. Louis Blues) (Details: The Blues end up reaching a bit here but they need a RHD prospect and they do not want to miss out on one of the top 5 RHD in the draft so they go off the board a little bit and select Jiricek at 16th looking to tap into the genetics here. Best case situation he turns into a player like his brother. Worst case situation he becomes a good bottom pairing nhl defenseman.).
17. Liam Greentree (Washington Capitals) (Details: SEATTLES PICK FROM THEIR 3 WAY TRADE

Seattle sticks with offense for the time being and selects a power forward that will get tot the net and get some garbage goals. They need some toughness up front and they address the need for that and the need for a deeper RW prospect pool with this pick.).
18. Terik Parascak (New York Islanders) (Details: The Islanders are in a position to take BPA and Parascak is an insane offensive talent. Could easily challenge for a spot in a year. He could easily become the top line RW in the future for the Islanders.).
19. Sacha Boisvert (Vegas Golden Knights) (Details: Vegas needs to get more prospects in the pool as they constantly trade them away. It might no matter who they draft as they will probably trade them in the future. But they take Boisvert here as he fits the image of the Golden Knights.).
20. Emil Hemming (Chicago Blackhawks from Tampa Bay Lightning) (Details: Getting Bedard a weapon, Hemming plays a strong and hard game that would free up some space for Bedard to work his magic. The Hawks get much heavier in this draft and that is something they definitely needed to address with Bedard getting pushed around a bit.).
21. Teddy Stiga (Los Angeles Kings) (Details: LA goes best player on the board. Stiga is a sneaky pick here and he reminds me of a playmaking version of Fiala. Where Fiala is a shooter Stiga is a passer but similar styles off the puck and in their movement.).
22. Henry Mews (Nashville Predators) (Details: Nashville needs a top prospect for RHD. Taking a bit of a reach on Mews gets Trotz an Elite Offensive Defenseman.).
23. Igor Chernyshov (Toronto Maple Leafs) (Details: Toronto goes BPA and isn't scared of taking the Russian prospects. A solid 2-way offensive talent that coudl slot in behind Knies without an issue.).
24. Andrew Basha (Anaheim Ducks from Edmonton Oilers) (Details: Ducks take Basha as he slides a bit good season with Medicine Hat but maybe scouts think the strong team around him boosted his numbers a bit.).
0. Ilya Nabokov (Colorado Avalanche) (Details: The Avs shock the hockey world and take a goaltender in the first round.

Nabokov is an oveager buthe is lightning up the KHL with huge numbers and projects as an Elite Starting goaltender.).
26. Alfons Freij (Ottawa Senators from Boston Bruins) (Details: Underrated Defenseman by many.

Freji has a good frame, great vision, the offensive capabilities to make an impact on the scoreboard and is a pretty good skater for his age.).
27. Tanner Howe (Calgary Flames from Vancouver Canucks) (Details: Flames third pick of the first round is a kid that has had over a ppg for three straight seasons with the Pats. It could have been seen as Howe was riding the wave off Bedard but he has really proven that he is a high end talent himself.).
28. Cole Hutson (Montreal Canadiens from Winnipeg Jets) (Details: Hutson slides right into the Habs lap. Getting the brother of their current defenseman and a legit top defensive prospect with a smaller stature. What more can you say besides brothers together on the backend just like Detroit in this draft.).
29. Michael Hage (Philadelphia Flyers from Florida Panthers) (Details: Philly is taking no chances with their Center depth getting another legit top 6 center in Hage.).
30. Aron Kiviharju (Carolina Hurricanes) (Details: Carolina loves their finish players and although he is a smaller defenseman he is lethal with the puck on his stick. Kiviharju has great vision and is an elite passer.).
31. Nikita Artamonov (Dallas Stars) (Details: Strong KHL season for a guy who can play either side of the ice. More of a playmaker than a goal scorer but the Stars have plenty of guys that can find the back of the net and they need someone that can set them up on a high end level.).
32. Ryder Ritchie (New York Rangers) (Details: Doubt the Rangers win the cup when they would need to get through Carolina and either the Avs or Oilers or Stars or Canucks. But they take BPA no matter what.).

I don't see Seattle trading back in the 1st round or drafting offense. The only way they go offense in the 1st is if they move up to the top 2 picks.

They'll take what is left of the top 5 D in the draft at their draft spot.

That it is, and it's a good story for the Buium brothers. One question I keep wondering about the Kraken is if they win the lottery, would they trade the pick and move back or would they take Celebini and have three young centers.

I would put my money on take Celebrini and have him play on the wing like he did at WJs or take him and trade Wright for a defenseman
