Can you do this for like Drury or Staal instead? This is more than fair value, but I still hate it because KK is such a strong breakout candidate

i don't think carolina is interested in that package, and I don't think the hawks should trade away a top 50 pick for a bottom 6er

If a team could get a bottom 6er in any round below 1, they'd be thrilled.
The only difference here is the cap hit they're taking on.

Sure, but in this case the hawks are in a rebuild and prioritize prospects. Therefore JK (and his contract) don't make sense for our team at this point
