Buchnevich will walk after the Blues finish 5th or 6th again in the Central. Don't know where you are finding this value, but a first rounder + a B+ level young player is adequate for a second liner who has 1 year left of term lol

What do you think Buchnevich is worth lol? you really think he is worth much more than a first rounder with 1 year left of term, a guy who is guaranteed to leave if they dont deal him lol... and yes, Minten for Varlamov, because the goaltending market will be wild this summer. When Robertson was Minten's age he was nearly a goal per game in the OHL, he is a talent, more goals and points than Toropchenko in 30 or so less games.

Its laughable if you think Buchnevich will fetch a first rounder at the deadline, once the blues are well out of the playoffs. He won't re-sign in St. Louis, this is an obvious fact, no one wants to live there and play for a mediocre team with no path. A 1st rounder + 2 B+ young players for Buchnevich with 1 year left of term and a career bottom-6 guy is plenty value. Maybe another team offers more, but if you think these two will fetch anymore value than this, you are doing yourself a laugher on this platform.
